As a graphic designer, I am aesthetically minded and detail oriented. I believe in key commands, the grid, and that less is truly more. My design style is smart and simple with a mindful focus on the experience of the end user. To me, good design is about solving problems and clearly communicating in a visually attractive way.
With 15 years of in-house experience, I have a strong understanding of both creative and business worlds. My background has provided me with a wide range of experiences and the opportunity to work with brands including Kate Spade, J.Crew, Martha Stewart, Vineyard Vines, Talbots, Disney, Kleinfeld Bridal, Crane Stationery, Neenah Paper, and more. I was honored to be named by Stationery Trends Magazine as one of their “10 Designers to Watch” in 2015.
Specializing in print design, I revel in the details that bring a project to life—be it choosing the right shade, weight, and finish of paper, determining the composition and framing that best highlights a product on a photo shoot, insisting that a color on press is still not quite there (and having the Delta E reading in the color lab support my claim), or discussing the finer points of printing with a press operator, like whether a letterpress job needs to be “kissed” or “smacked”. As Charles Eames said, “The details are not the details. They make the design.”
When not indulging my wanderlust, I live in Pennsylvania's beautiful Brandywine Valley with my husband, son, and our weimaraner.
